Asparagus – Kate & Alex
I was as shocked as you may be, but I’ll tell you this much: I love asparagus and I absolutely adore Kate & Alex!
Kate and Alex were married on Saturday December 1, 2007 at St. Xavier’s in Manhattan. Dinner and dancing followed at The W Union Square, and Tara and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
From the start, Kate and Alex held a very special place in my heart. There was an instant connection between us….surrounded by our blackberry’s (the same model I may add)…we are people of finance. After chatting about what he does, she does, and I did….they shared their vision for their big day: family, friends purple, green, and cream.
The bride wore antique lace while the groom honored his Scottish roots in a kilt. Guests danced to the amazing tunes of Vali Music in The Great Room. A. Perry Heller and staff snapped pictures while we all satisfied our pallettes to impeccable foods selected by the bride and groom personally – Fried Stuffed Olives, Fig & Prosciutto Flatbread, Crab Cakes…my mouth still waters at the thought.
Okay, enough with the details…I will end this by saying – if you didn’t like asparagus, you will now. I present the Pièce de résistance:

I told you so – I knew you’d love it as much as I do!
