always the bridesmaid

Choosing your wedding party apparel presents yet another way to carry your theme/vibe through the event. It is also a fabulous opportunity to set your wedding apart from the rest of the planning pack (a continuing theme of my planned blog posts).

Imagine a dress that “marries a bride’s vision with her bridesmaids’ happiness”. Impossible? Not so, according to twobirds bridesmaid. Their hand washable, jersey/spandex/nylon blend dresses can be worn in at least 10 different a ways. Available in plus sizes, flattering to the preggo bridesmaid, and 10 different colors, these dresses offer something for every body type. Although the starting price of $270 might seem steep for most budgets, the fact that this dress can be worn and worn again – makes the cost much easier to swallow. Matching ties are available for the fellas.

A bridesmaid dress does not need to come from a bridal salon. When I am in the market for a dress, edressme, Nordstroms, Anthropologie, Jcrew and Bluefly are my go to sites.

   I love the idea of a rewearable bridesmaid dress- get your BMs involved in the decision, becaus eeven though you think that tiered hunter green prarie dress is the bee’s knees, odds are, they don’t.
