E&D = forever in love

Yes, I’ve been slacking on the blog posts, but my New Year’s resolution was to catch up…so here it is!

Liz and Dwayne, married on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Chateau Briand in Carle Place.  What makes this day even more special is that it is Liz’s grandparents wedding anniversary.  Talk about sentimental and really special!

Liz is a person who wears her heart on her sleeve, so it’s no wonder upon meeting Dwayne, he too was a complete gentleman.  At first, they come off to be a quiet, head over heels in love couple…but they blossom into this vivacious and charasmatic dynamic duo.  Smiles from ear to ear, lending a hand to family and friends, and that love that is simply put, contagious.  It’s no wonder that there wasn’t a dry eye in the house during their ceremony and a packed dance floor all night long.

Here are some images and details about their special day.

What can I say A Modern Long Island Wedding 9 years in the making!!!

April 2, 1949 my grandparents made the special commitment to each other. So it was only right that on April 2, 2009, sixty years later I do the same thing. What a way to party!!!

Christine you were truly amazing I love having you apart of our day. I didn’t have a care in the world beside getting married to hubby and enjoy every moment of my wedding!!!!!

    xoxo
