Allison Braley and Scott Thompson

Allison Moran Braley and Scott Anthony Thompson were married Saturday in New York. Kim Kirkley, a Universal Brotherhood minister, officiated at the Manhattan Penthouse.

Mrs. Thompson, 29, is a director of media strategy in the New York office of OutCast Communications, a public relations agency. She graduated from James Madison University. She is a daughter of Margaret Gallagher Braley and George A. Braley of Oakton, Va. They work in Washington. Her father is senior vice president for government relations and public policy at Feeding America, a relief organization. Her mother is a director of performance and compensation management for the Government Accountability Office.

Mr. Thompson, also 29, is an associate at the New York law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson. He graduated magna cum laude from George Washington University and received a law degree, cum laude, from Fordham. He is the son of Nancy K. Thompson and Anthony R. Thompson of Greenville, Del. The bridegroom’s father retired as the general manager of KPDX-TV in Portland, Ore.
