04.10.10 – The Artist’s Loft, Brooklyn
Coordinator: Christine
We contacted Exquisite Affairs Productions Inc., when we realized that, with our busy schedules and never-ending wedding to-do list, we could not do it all by ourselves. We needed some help and with less than a month before our wedding, we needed it fast.
Friends of ours had hired Christine Viola from Exquisite Affairs Productions Inc. for their wedding (a year before) and raved about how professional, organized and super friendly she was. We sent an email to Christine, hoping she was available last minute, at one of the busiest times for weddings in NYC. We received a quick response from Christine and luckily she was able to work us into her schedule!
Christine Viola went ABOVE and BEYOND our expectations of her assistance with our wedding.
We had no clue how many important details we were missing, until Christine helped us organize our scattered information and drew up a simple, easy to follow plan. She also created a schedule that had the foresight to reflect realistic timing and a comfortable pace for both ceremony and reception. Christine kept all of our vendors aware, advised and helped orchestrate their deliveries, rentals, and on-site preparations. When our DJ arrangement fell through, she got us in contact with an amazing DJ, that our friends are still talking about.
If that weren’t enough, when my maid of honor realized her dress still had a security tag on it, Christine assured her that everything would be alright, and then rushed to the Macys in downtown Brooklyn to have the tag removed. It was back in my maid-of-honor’s hands in record time. Did I also mention that she picked up our cupcakes AND ran to our house when we realized we forgot our cake toppers at home?
Nothing ever goes perfect for a wedding, but with Christine in charge, you wouldn’t even know it. As far as I was concerned, the day was smooth as butter. I had no clue our officiant got lost or that one of our ceremony readers got stuck in traffic. If there were any other last minute concerns, I didn’t notice and I wouldn’t know. Christine handled everything with swift grace and humor.
When it was finally time for me to walk down the aisle, my knees were buckling and shaking so hard that I was afraid I would fall – but Christine was right there to keep me calm. She smiled sweetly and reminded me to take a breath and enjoy the moment.
I will recommend this company to everyone and anyone planning a wedding…Exquisite indeed.

I just can’t stay enough good things about Christine of Exquisite Affairs Production. She was one of the most critical component of making my wedding happen – so much so that I included her in my thank-you toast during the reception. If you are looking at wedding planning services, here are a few points of advice I have in hindsight:
1. If you have a small budget for your wedding, and are debating about whether or not you should even “splurge” on a wedding planner, CALL CHRISTINE. I couldn’t even figure out how to include cake in my budget, let alone a planner. But she made it all happen. She was always my advocate in any negotiation with vendor. She had resources I couldn’t possibly think of. Every single dollar that I spent on her – I would have spent three times as much elsewhere.
2. If you have decided you needed a planner, but you aren’t sure who to have, CALL CHRISTINE. She has that infectious personality that will draw you in immediately. She appreciates my vision, she allows me to make my choices, but she helps me so much with the logistics I don’t know how I could have done without her.
3. If you already planned your wedding, but just need a DOC, CALL CHRISTINE. Having her there on the wedding day was amazing – she knew how to do EVERYTHING. My husband’s tux button fell off – 5 minutes later, Christine got it sewn back on. I decided half way through the reception that I wanted my dress off the floor just a little, she got to work to modify my bustle in 15 minutes. I delivered my DIY flowers to her that morning with vases in boxes and flowers in pots and pans, and the reception site looked so beautiful that I didn’t recognize my own decor. You know those TV shows that has the bride walking into the reception going “Oh My God!” I always thought that was just drama for TV. But no, that was me. And on my wedding day, not once did I have to worry about anything. I didn’t even hear about it. Christine covered it all.
Let’s just say that even my parents, who are hippies that got married in the 1960s for 200 dollars and who think “the wedding industry is out to get us” fell in love with Christine.
Most importantly, if you are looking for someone who shares the vision of your wedding, and who will be there to execute it so that you can enjoy the best day of your life, you want to have someone that is honest, trustworthy, and fun to be around. Christine is one of those people. I am thankful she planned my wedding, and I am even more thankful for the friendship we have developed.
I know I sound like a broken record, but really, CALL CHRISTINE.

Christine was the best! Saved my butt (literally) when my bustle broke AND when I got a stain on the dress. She was helpful from start to finish. Highly recommend.

02.06.10 – The Central Park Boathouse
Coordinator: Christine
I can’t imagine having a wedding without having hired Christine. We were married February 6th at the Central Park Boat House. We could not possibly have been happier with Christine’s service. She made our wedding day experience truly stress free. From sewing my shoes together right before the ceremony to dealing with our family stresses to making sure very single detail of the day was perfect, Christine was a blessing and a super star. She is a positive, hard working, honest person that I am proud to say I worked with. Our only regret was that we didn’t hire her to coordinate our rehearsal dinner also. In terms of value- oh my! We would have paid three or four times what we did…..

01.09.10 – The Royalton Mansion
Planner: Christine / Products: Laurie
My husband & I engaged EAP for full service wedding planning including day of coordination. It was the best decision we made. We both have demanding executive level jobs and mine requires occasional unexpected travel. We hired Christine on June 29, 2009 and got married on January 9, 2010 and had a beautiful wedding at Cathedral of the Incarnation in Garden City and a fantastic reception at the Royalton Mansion in Rosyln Heights, NY. We could not have done it without Christine. She is extremely reliable, professional and responsive. She utilizes email the majority of the time and you can count on her to get back to you very quickly. She is experienced and I relied on her advice and judgment. She is resourceful.
Her vendor recommendations are top notch. We had visited the Royalton before hiring EAP, and Christine suggested some other venues which helped us confirm our decision. She was helpful in reviewing the contract with the Royalton and providing advice. When I was unhappy with the restrictions on the florist at the Royalton, she helped me come up with a beautiful non-floral centerpiece solution that was gorgeous and incorporated all the elements of my vision for the reception. She is attentive to budget and helped us find cost savings solutions whenever possible. She recommended a DJ and photographer who were fabulous. Because we could rely on Christine, we did not have to spend our time doing hours of research on vendors. She also found me hair and make up stylists who were much more affordable than the Manhattan stylists and who did a terrific job.
We had many guests from out of town and needed blocks of hotel rooms. She took care of this for us. She found two great hotels and got us great rates. She also coordinated shuttle service for us between all of our locations.
The week of the wedding, I asked her if we could squeeze in a videographer for the ceremony and she came through immediately with a very reasonable price. Talk about service!
Christine is also extremely friendly and personable. During the rehearsal and the day of the wedding, she was helpful, professional and not intrusive. I knew she was there but no one else did! She is lovely and you should hire her!
EAP also has a graphic designer – Laurie – who designed our wedding invitations. She is wonderful too. She did exactly what we wanted at a very reasonable cost. We wanted an art deco look and she achieved it very quickly and even designed a cool logo for us that we used in a few other places too (without going overboard). Laurie also assembled and mailed our invitations for us at the last minute due to unexpected business travel for me at minimal cost (so worth it!). She is terrific. Our invitations and thank-you cards are unique and cost-effective but look classy and expensive.

Coordinator: Christine
I used Christine’s day of service. She was absolutely fantastic. She gave me some great recommendations for vendors, and everyone I used exceeded my expectations. Christine was absolutely priceless on the day of the wedding. I did not have to worry about a single thing (and we got married in a snow storm!) Even my husband was impressed and has not stopped talking about how fantastic she was! Christine is professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. I would recommend EAP to anyone! Working with her was one of the best decisions I made while planning my wedding.

12.19.09 – Nyack Seaport
Coordinator: Hollie
I worked with Hollie Pena Holmes as my day-of coordinator, and her work was outstanding. She always made sure my needs were met, and served as the point person for my ginormous bridal party, and all the vendors. I honestly don’t know how a person could plan a wedding without someone like Hollie there on the wedding day to make sure it all goes smoothly! I especially appreciated that she came out in some seriously bad weather, and stayed the entire time I needed her in spite of that weather. Thank you to Hollie so so much for an incredible day!!!

My husband and I loved Exquisite Affairs Productions. As soon as we got engaged, I contacted Christine about planning our wedding based on the amazing comments on different wedding websites. We were never disappointed in our decision. From scouting locations to shopping for my dress to managing our family members, Christine more than earned her fee. She stayed within our budget (even when we didn’t), and recommended amazing vendors, including Laurie from EAP who did all of our stationery. Laurie was also so easy to work with and stayed extremely professional, even when I came up with new ideas at the last minute. From the rehearsal dinner invitations to the out of town gift boxes, she designed them all.
After the wedding, we got amazing comments from our guests about the wedding and the entire experience was more than we hoped for. Do not get married in NYC without EAP!!! They are the best in the business!!!

12.12.09 – Prospect Park Picnic House
Coordinator: Christine
Another amazing vendor. So, I thought that since I hired Christine for the “day of”, that meant that I had to plan everything, hand everything over to her fully planned, and she would run the show on my wedding day. I was starting to bang my head against a wall towards the end trying to work out the timing of everything. (Example: I have to wait until I hear back from the photographers regarding how early we should leave for outdoor pictures, given that it’s winter and the sun sets early, before I contact the ladies doing hair and make-up to work out what time they’ll get started, and on and on, etc.) Then I met with Christine about a month before the wedding and she’s like, “No, I’ll take care of all that.” She will “coordinate” the day of your wedding; she’ll contact vendors and work out what time they’ll need to arrive/make deliveries, etc. Suddenly, overnight—poof—my wedding was planned. She totally took care of things when I e-mailed her the day before my wedding because I decided I wanted votives on the fireplace, and the morning of my wedding when I told her there were 20 (that’s right, 20!!!) last minute, weather-related no shows, and she calmly eliminated a table/switched around seating assignments, all unphased. She kept everyone on time on our wedding day…and she was nice about it (I’m not sure all wedding planners are) and was definitely a calming influence. Oh, I forgot to mention that she also magically produced glue for false eyelashes when we realized we were in need!

Christine did a phenomenal job helping with day-of wedding coordination. She covered all details and was always one step ahead of us. And when White Castle wouldn’t deliver our end of the night snacks, she went out and picked them up for us! Would hire her again in a heartbeat. If I’d known about EAP earlier into the wedding planning, I would have hired her for full wedding planning services!

Christine Viola of Exquisite Affairs was a God send. She kept me calm, on schedule and stress free the entire wedding weekend. Coordinator: Tara / Products: Laurie
Tara Geremia is FANTASTIC!!!!!!! I spent a LONG 18 months planning our wedding without a wedding planner. When I started to get overwhelmed, I called several planners who wanted to charge me upwards of $10,000…for what…I don’t know! A coworker used Christine from EAP for their DOC and told me it was the best $ they spent. He said “Trust me, you will thank me later.”
From the second I met Tara I knew I was in good hands. My career as a tv producer makes me completely OCD when it comes to details. Tara said, “Don’t worry, I will ‘produce’ your wedding day.”
She took over when it came to dealing with all of my vendors. That, in and of itself, is worth every penny. The LAST thing you want to do the week before your wedding is deal with vendors, schedules and payments.
Tara’s detailed timeline of our wedding day made me feel like everything was in order. Everyone knew where they needed to be and when.
I can’t tell you how happy I was to see Tara when she arrived at my bridal suite. She was so calm, so helpful. She fit in so well with my family and bridal party. She sorted everything out. My mum got a little cut on her finger and Tara was there in an instant with a band-aid. My mother still raves about her to this day:)
NOTHING went wrong on our wedding day. Well, at least nothing that I know of…I know Tara was taking care of everything. I can’t tell you how many times my husband and I said, “Can you imagine if we didn’t have Tara?”
Brides-to-be…I cannot recommend Tara enough. She will give you peace of mind. She will take care of everything.
I was Tara’s last wedding before she has her baby. I was honored! Her calm demeanor coupled with her awesome sense of humor will make her one heck of a Mama:)I miss her and I just hope every future bride appreciates her as much as we did!
p.s. Christine is AMAZING! Laurie made our escort cards last minute and they were FABULOUS! Love these ladies!!!!!

I first met Christine at a wedding where I was a bridesmaid and I thought she did such a fabulous job attending to the bride and us bridesmaid’s. She was so on top of everything, I was impressed by her attention to detail and professionalism that I knew I had to hire her for my wedding! Anytime I had a question throughout the planning process Christine was just an email (or phone call) away and her response was always so quick! Also, Christine’s relationships with vendors helped us to get star quality service within our budget. I definitely felt more at ease on my wedding day knowing Christine was there!
Laurie did my invitations, place cards, etc. and I couldn’t have been happier with the finished products. Laurie was extremely patient with designing all the elements and I loved and was so proud of everything she created.

If Christine is available on your wedding date, do not hesitate- BOOK HER! She was such a tremendous help to me throughout the entire process although I only booked her “day of” services. Coordinator: Christine / Products: Laurie
Christine was an absolute pleasure to work with, from our first point of contact all the way through the day. She was extremely professional and helpful, and made my day run smoother than I could have imagined. She even calmed my mom down after she had spilled red nail polish on the hem of her white pants, and performed some alterations on the spot so nobody would notice.
We used her (Laurie)to design and print all of our paper items, from the save-the-date through to the menus, programs and thank you cards. We were really happy to have a common theme carried throughout, and we were very pleased with all of the designs that she provided. I thought her prices were reasonable, and she was so awesome in putting up with all of my nit picky questions and constant requests for different versions!
Negative: I wish she was able to provide live samples of the designs, instead of digital versions. This sometimes made it difficult to really make a decision since we couldn’t see the real thing.

Christine made an amazing contribution in helping our wedding be the best day ever! It was such a relief to have her on our team, in the weeks leading up to the big day and then of course once it had arrived. She anticipated things we hadn’t even thought of and made everything far less stressful. We spent a good deal of time on our honeymoon being quite smug with ourselves for having hired such amazing vendors, and she definitely fell into that group!

It was a true pleasure working with Christine Viola, our Wedding Coordinator from EAP. She is simply a delightful person, truly caring. From our first meeting till my big day she gave her 100% and it showed. We highly recommend her, there was never an uncomfortable moment between us, and we were able to get great advice from her throughout the entire wedding process. I cannot recommend this vendor highly enough! Not only are they extremely affordable, they are fun to work with! I worked with Christine for Day of Coordination and Laurie for all my wedding stationery (invites, escort cards, table numbers, misc).
Christine is a lifesaver. The best part of working with her (besides the fact that she is awesome and now I consider her a good friend) is that she answers any and all questions you may have from day one of booking with her. I emailed her at 7am about a silly issue I was worried about and she would respond within hours. I honestly can’t imagine what I would have done if I didn’t work with Christine. She made certain that nothing bothered me on my wedding day and that everything went as planned so that I could enjoy the day to the fullest. She even told me that I could direct all friends and family to her for any questions, months before the wedding!
I did most of the wedding planning myself, but Christine works with some awesome vendors. She helped me with wedding transportation (limos and buses for the guests) and it all went off without a hitch. Also, many of the vendors I had already booked had worked with her and loved her as well.
When I was looking to work on my invitations Christine introduced me to Laurie who works with her as a graphic designer. Laurie was awesome to work with, helped me find ways to save money, and designed the most beautiful invitations I have ever seen in my life. Of course I am biased since they were mine, but everyone I sent them to loved them. She really worked with me to understand what I wanted and customized the invitations accordingly. She created an invite, a weekend guide with a map, and the cutest rsvp postcards ever for a fraction of what it would have cost to buy elsewhere. And she is so responsive! I was honestly sad when I was done working on all the wedding stationery because I wanted to work with her more. You should check out the blog to see her work, my invites are up there!!!

6.19.09 – The Palm House, Brooklyn Botanic Garden
Planner: Christine / Products: Laurie
I was super stressed as my wedding date neared and after reading about Christine’s services on Wedding Bee, I decided to reach out to her. After a few e-mail exchange and phone call, I knew that she was the one. Since the day I hired her, she has been nothing but a source of comfort and knowledge — it’s like having an additional bridesmaid/friend on board except this one actually cares about the wedding planning as much as I did (brides, you know what I’m talking about)!
Throughout the planning process, Christine was extremely responsive and helpful with everything — whether that is to just hear me complain (e.g., my photographer bailed on me at the last minute) or to plan (e.g., she took care of all transportation issues). On the day of the wedding, she showed up with a bag mirroring that of Mary Poppins because she had everything any bride could possibly need on that day. She was also everywhere that day, working well with the coordinater at the Palm House, the vendors and with family/friends. While I had no idea where she was at any given moment, the second she sensed my need, she was there. It was like magic! My husband and I could not gush enough about how she really made the day flow so seamlessly. I didn’t have to think about anything but enjoying the day. She really went beyond her call of duty at every turn. During the day of, she stayed really late just to make sure everything was ok and in my happy intoxicated stage, to my horror, I left my dress on the shuttle bus. No worries — Christine saved the day again and made sure she held onto it until I returned from my honeymoon!!!!!
I am so grateful that I had met Christine and that she was part of our special day. Above all, her great smile and attitude cannot be replaced and she’s a great joy to have around.

Coordinator: Hollie
I need to give Hollie from EAP a big e-hug and e-thumbs up. She kept me calm and collected on the day of, and took care of everything. Even though on the day of my wedding, she was sick and had no voice, she still ran around like a true pro and kept everything organized and moving along. If there were any problems, I never heard about them. PLUS, I had drawn up a detailed plan of how I wanted things set up at the venue, AND THEN FORGOT TO GIVE IT TO HER like the airheaded person I am but it didn’t matter because when I got there, everything was pretty much where I wanted it. She is intuitive of your needs, and she is just FABULOUS. Absolutely one of the reasons why our wedding was SO. MUCH. FUN. was because she never let me worry about a thing.

I absolutely love Christine… she was so helpful day of the wedding. I knew she was the one when I sent her that first e-mail and she respond in 10 mins flat, that’s when I knew it would be a match made in heaven. She very easy to work with, eased all my anxieties and took control when a situation came up.
Ex. The day of the wedding my make-up artist was a no show and I was freaking out that to me was the worse thing that could happen but Christine took charge of the situation ensuring me that all will be well and putting on make up for not only me but for my mother & mother in law and our make-up looked stunning.

Quite simply, Christine Viola of Exquisite Affairs productions was the single most important vendor in helping plan my wedding. Even though I considered myself a type A personality and organized, Christine was an invaluable resource in helping me select certain vendors and providing ongoing guidance on a multitude of questions/details that arose throughout the planning. Her guidance truly came from her experience in helping plan so many weddings. As I was planning a NYC wedding from Washington, DC, she worked with me to customize a package that helped with my specific needs. She truly was a partner in the process. Christine is organized, efficient and always prompt in her follow-up, In short, she is a consummate professional. I cannot speak any more highly of her. Book her early!

Coordinator: Tara
I hired Tara to be our day of planner for our wedding in New York City. She was very professional and helpful throughout the five months of planning and the day of the wedding. The best part was I didn’t have to worry about any of the vendors leading up to and during our wedding day. We found out the week before the wedding that the streets around our reception venue were going to be closed for an Earth Day festival. Tara called all our vendors and worked out the details of where they would park etc. On our wedding day – the limo to take us to the church was caught in traffic and running late – Tara was in touch with them so I didn’t have to worry about it. She came prepared and took care of the small details. I highly recommend Tara.

Booking EAP for Day of Coordinator services is well worth the money! Christine Viola is the consummate professional – very skilled at what she does. My only regret is not booking her for the entire wedding day (I did the package for 7 hours – getting ready through end of cocktail hour). Just knowing she was there to take care of things was a huge weight off of my shoulders that day.
Additionally, the documents that she prepares prior to the wedding – schedules, compiled list of vendors, important notes – are incredibly valuable. She was a great resource to me in the planning/preparing process (and was always available via email). I would highly recommend EAP and Christine to any bride!

What can I say about Christine that hasn’t been said before? She is fantastic and you should hire her. That’s it. When I first started planning I read so many good reviews of her I hired her over a year before my wedding. She was so helpful all the way through my planning- answering countless emails quickly and always making me feel like a priority when I still had months and months to go. She is a great resource throughout the process. And I can’t imagine not having someone there the day of.
She really took care of everything which made me really relaxed and let me enjoy the day with no worries. As soon as she arrived the day of I felt like everything was taken care of. A million little things come up the week of a wedding so having some who is confirming all the vendors is such a huge help. She takes total control of the day without ever seeming bossy or controlling. She is also a very sweet and calm person so she’s just a pleasure to be around. And she comes with a suitcase full of anything you could ever need!

1.24.09 – Pochron Studios
Coordinator: Christine
Christine was professional, yet friendly, from the first moment we met her. She consistently went above and beyond the role of a day-of coordinator. Prior to the wedding, she helped with everything from securing last-minute flower and transportation vendors to finalizing decor to organizing our time line. She also met with us on 3 occasions (initial, walk-though at the venue with the caterer–where she took notes (and I forgot!), and details finalization).
On the day before the wedding, Christine helped us to set-up our rentals and decorate the venue, which was essential because it was all done DIY. On the day-of the wedding, she was able to coordinate everything flawlessly. Because of Christine, I was able to relax and enjoy myself, knowing that she would take care of the flow of the night and any problem(s) that might come up. She was incredible and successfully pulling the wedding off without her might have been impossible.

I know every bride says this but Saturday was one of the best days of our lives. Every minute was an absolute joy and my guests raved about every single vendor. We had a fabulous time and so did everyone in attendance. Hollie was just awesome! Talk about friendly, welcoming and warm. She stepped right in and made us feel so comfortable.
Words can not express how helpful you were in the process. The team of vendors you helped put together were definitely the dream team. Joe and I sat down the other night going over everything and we both agree it was all worth it. EAP is absolutely awesome and I plan on making sure I repeat that to everyone I know.

Coordinator: Christine / Products: Laurie
I hired Christine as my Day of Coordinator but she truly went above and beyond merely DOC services. I planned my wedding long distance from Illinois, so much of our correspondence was via email and phone. Christine was always responsive and often served as my eyes and ears when I could not meet with vendors in person. She offered valuable advice and was extremely patient throughout the planning process. Knowing that she was on top of everything truly enabled me to relax and enjoy our special day. I would recommend her services without hesitation.
I also used Laurie Correas of EAP for design and print services. Everything arrived in a timely manner and was packaged nicely. Laurie was very patient throughout the entire process and I was given ample opportunity to request changes and make modifications during the design process. Laurie also assisted with the design of our Gobo which turned out very nice and tied into our wedding theme perfectly. Everyone remarked how the Gobo, the wedding program, menu cards, and escort cards were beautiful.
The only very minor flaw was in the design of the escort cards. The font used was extremely small and many guests were unable to locate their cards in the dim lighting. I noticed when they arrived in the mail that the font was too small but with the wedding only days away there was not an opportunity to redo them. While I acknowledge that I should have noticed the font size during the proof approval process, I would think she would have noticed that the font size would be unreadable for most of our guests. With the exception of this minor glitch I would recommend using Laurie Correas for all your design and printing needs. She’s an excellent graphic designer and full of creative ideas.
