Just to have the extra person to help was awesome. Don’t think about getting a DOC, just get one to make your special day one you don’t have to worry about.

I hired Christine as the day-of coordinator for my wedding in New York City — but she was so much more than just a day-of coordinator and was by my side for weeks before the wedding, helping me in a thousand different ways that went far above and beyond her job detail. She immediately put any concerns I had to rest, helped me through every step and went WAY above the call of duty to help me in every way in the months before the wedding. I work at a high-end wedding publication so I know something about the wedding industry, and how hard it can be on brides to navigate it. Christine deftly solved problems I wasn’t even aware I had at the time, saving me stress and work. She also found ways for me to save money with many vendors — effectively, the money I saved on them made up for the money I spent on hiring her.

She is the best money I spent on any vendor for my wedding — and I had some great ones. Her services were absolutely invaluable, and on the day of I seriously don’t know what I would have done without her — if I needed it done, she was there to do it and I just got to sit back, get married, enjoy and have fun with my guests instead of worrying about details. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is not only a day-of coordinator, she is your advocate. I only wish I had hired her earlier in the process.

I’ve known Christine since 1998. We hung out every weekend basically for a few years and always adored each other. When I heard she started EAP, it was a no brain-er that she was the one I wanted for my DOC. True story: months before my husband proposed I emailed Christine and asked her to hold our wedding date as a just in case. After he popped the question, I contacted Christine and the “pencil hold” became sealed in ink! She helped with countless decisions, allowing me to give numerous choices and her narrowing them down for me. It was great to have someone’s ear. For our final meeting she sat with Tom and I for an hour going over every single detail and answering all of our questions.

The day of the wedding she was early and started working as soon as she got there. She helped everyone and anyone. She had us on schedule and every thing flowed like a swiss clock. She bustled all of my girls’ dresses, she helped me use the bathroom, she made me eat, fixed my hair, organized my wedding party army (over 25 people), she calmed my nerves and laughed at/with me!!! lol She is AWESOME and I can’t recommend her ENOUGH!!!

She exudes confidence and competence, and is always friendly and upbeat. Christine is incredibly responsive by phone and email and every question or request is treated as a priority by her. And with Christine’s background in the finance industry, I met someone whose love of organization and attention to detail made me feel that Christine was always on top of everything. Christine made me feel at ease during a very stressful time – and during the actual day, she was an absolute godsend, making sure that everything ran smoothly and that we had everything we needed.

Tara from EAP was a pleasure to work with. I could email her at any time with the smallest of question or concern and she would respond quickly with plans or ideas that suited me and my then fiancee’s taste perfectly.

The day of the wedding she was quick and calming to not only me, but my immediate family, bridal party and vendors. When one of my vendors did not meet my expectations, she was on the phone and speaking to the owner of the company with in minutes. She defused the situation and made sure I was happy.
There was no question or doubt in my mind that I ever made a bad choice in getting her. My mother thanked me for having her to help with all the details of the day, that it helped her just enjoy the moment and day with our family and friends.

Those of you debating whether or not to get a DOC I would say it was one of the best things I did for my wedding. Christine was amazing before the wedding answering my many questions and the say of easing everyone of my worries. I did not have to worry about anything the day of the wedding because Christine was there to take care of it. I had a lot of vendors and things going on such as my flowers being moved from my the church to reception and also almost 100 guests being on shuttles from the hotel to the reception. If there were any issues the day of the wedding I did not know about any of them.

I had a very small wedding, but I was looking for someone to help with ceremony set-up and clean-up, to assist guests going the reception venue, and to set-up the reception venue. I did not need an all-day coordinator, just someone for a few hours. What I loved about EAP was that they offered a range of day-of-coordination packages. EAP’s Something New package met my needs and provided an affordable option to my wedding coordination needs.

Christine Viola was my day-of-coordinator. I LOVED Christine. She responded immediately to my availability request. She was patient, professional, attentive, supportive and creative. Even though I was having a small wedding and did not require all-day service, she made me feel like my wedding day was important and special.

I am pretty sure my review will not do Tara Geremia, from Exquisite Affairs Productions justice, but I’ll try. She was amazing from Day 1. We hired her as a "Day of" Coordinator, but she was in touch for about 3 months prior giving advice about how to handle certain things. And really was super responsive in any questions we had throughout that time!

If I tried to put a value on her service, it would be priceless. My new husband and I keep saying what a lifesaver she was! We didn’t have to worry about one thing. She checked in with us throughout the evening at the exact perfect times and made sure we were having the time of our lives! Which we were!! I don’t think a smile left either of our faces and Tara certainly made sure if it!

I contacted EAP about their day of coordination packages. I booked with Christine almost immediately. She was the best vendor I booked. She took care of everything that I forgot to take care of (which was a lot). I had a hard time with a few of my other vendors and Christine helped me deal with them and find last minute replacements for a few of them. My entire wedding day went so smoothly because of her. My adorable little cousin ran up and hugged me with penne ala vodka all over her mouth… got sauce all over the front of my dress. I thought my dress was ruined. Christine fixed it so quickly that no one else even knew it happened! I highly recommend Exquisite Affairs Productions!

Christine Viola is a lifesaver! She was so helpful with all the aspects of my wedding and did so in a calm, even-keeled manner. I had such an amazing time on the actual day and the added bonus was that Christine was behind the scenes managing all the moving pieces. This was not only great for me, but the bridal party as well (since they end up carrying the brunt).

Since I had never planned a wedding before, I did not even know where to start. Christine made sure that I was on track and managed all the details for my wedding that I could not and did not want to handle for the event. She came with me to the important vendor meetings and has a wonderful rapport with them.

Words of advice: if you are considering hiring a day of coordinator, do it! I honestly believe that Tara from Exquisite Affairs Productions Inc. is the reason why my wedding ran so smoothly. Tara always responded quickly to my emails with professionalism and provided personal attention when I needed it the most. She truly went above an beyond her call of duty from calming my nerves down when the planning got tough (and it will, brides!), to meeting me at a coffee shop to look at my inspiration boards. Just like a little elf, she did all the behind the scenes tasks before anyone realized they even needed to be done.

She’s also very knowledgeable & successfully found my limousine for the day and our picture location at Gantry Park. She even sat with the limo driver & listened to the traffic reports to find out which route was best. From the moment I hired her to the day of the wedding, I knew I could turn to Tara for support & to tell me what I needed to do! She even called me the day before the wedding just to see how I was doing.

Really, if you hire her you will not be disappointed. Her down to earth nature & positive attitude is great. My wedding wasn’t even a week ago & I miss her already!

I hired Christine from EAP as my DOC for my wedding and she was simply the best. I honestly do not know what I would have done without her. She went above and beyond her DOC duties. She bustled my dress and all of my bridesmaids’ dresses. My mom could not find anyone who was able to zip up her dress and it took Christine one swift try. When I practiced my choreographed first dance in my dress I discovered that I couldn’t do the steps because I kept tripping on the back of my dress and I freaked out but Christine came to the rescue. With quick wit and 9839530858 pins, Christine pinned the whole bottom of my dress. She literally spent 15 minutes on the floor. I also think Christine has an advantage at her job because she has ESP. I didn’t even have to ask her to do things, she just knew what I needed. If you’re contemplating getting a DOC stop contemplating and hire Christine, you won’t be sorry.

I booked her to be my "Day Of Coordinator" because I wanted to plan everything myself, but have someone be there the day of my wedding to make sure everything ran smoothly. We kept in touch via e-mail and any time I had a question, Christine would be there to give me advice right away. She became more like a friend. She also coordinated my rehearsal dinner (which I really needed because of my huge bridal party). The day of my wedding, she pulled through like I knew she would… she took care of all the little things and the other annoyances (which I did not find out until after the wedding) so that me, my husband and our families could enjoy our special day. I highly recommend her!

I cannot give enough praise about Tara! Tara was incredibly supportive and warm from the moment we met her. I was able to use her to bounce ideas and to ask for inspiration, get creative details for my wedding, and just talk. What a great, down-to-earth person is Tara. And what about her professionalism? Not only was she was very prompt in responding to my emails and questions, but she saved our butts!! Since she really thought about every major detail and knew the ins and outs of our wedding, she handed us a copy of our ceremony reading just moments before we were to start. The only time I got nervous during the entire day was just as I was about to walk down the aisle. That’s certainly nothing that Tara can control! But she controlled everything else. I was worry-free as can be. This is simply due to Tara. On the wedding day, she ran up and down stairs to deliver hundreds of *things*, she set up my entire candy buffet and kept it filled the entire night, was in ten places at a time, and brought an entire suitcase of emergency supplies. You don’t even want to know how many times we needed scissors that day! I certainly didn’t anticipate it, but Tara did. She’s a freaken pro! She even did my bustle because everyone had disappeared to cocktail hour after picture taking.

How would you like, on your wedding day, to have a friendly face tell you that everything is going great? And to look into that face and know that its true, because she is keeping it there? It’s an amazing, freeing feeling. Seriously. Book Tara. Just for the peace of mind, for the organization skills and her keen attention to detail!

Christine is a ball of fire! She is organized, supportive, knowledgeable, and hilarious. She is reachable almost 24/7 by email. She gives great advice and comes up with solutions to the smallest issues. As a DOC, she has gone above and beyond. Christine created 2 floral proposals for me and even came with me to a florist meeting. She also came to the tasting to ensure the set-up goes smoothly with the venue. Christine went to bat for us to have the ceremony moved outdoors. She also oversaw the set-up of the entire ceremony and reception areas. Most importantly, she dealt with my family’s craziness as we got ready, had 2 separate tea ceremonies, took photos in Meatpacking, took photos at Battery Park, and changed into and out of my gowns/shoes/jewelry 3 times. Plus she helped my aunt and my cousin find needle and thread for a dress emergency. I firmly believe every bride should have Christine in her corner on the day of her wedding.

How would you like, on your wedding day, to have a friendly face tell you that everything is going great? And to look into that face and know that its true, because she is keeping it there? We worked with Christine who was very responsive and patient from the get-go. She went above and beyond during the planning process and met with us in person several times on top of being available 24/7 via email and phone. She was organized with forms and schedules and ensured there was always good vendor contact.

During the wedding, was also very good in herding guests and managing vendors. Though at times there were a few tense moments with scheduling and photos ops– which I would attribute to just general wedding stress and working with so many moving elements.

Overall Christine went above and beyond and was a huge asset to our perfect day.

I just want to say that Hollie from EAP is the best!!! I basically had everything done by the time I had hired Hollie to be my DOC for my July 13th wedding. When we first met she went over everything with me, my husband and mother. I couldn’t believe how much she would take care of the day of. When my day came Hollie was amazing!! She took everything to the church to set up. She made sure I ate and was calm. She made sure everything went smoothly. Even when one of the groomsmen’s hems fell out of his pants Hollie sewed it up for him. She made sure everything was packed up before she left for the night. She truly made our day even more special because we didn’t have to worry about the little thing. That’s what she was there for.

I would recommend her to anyone! She is Amazing!!!

Christine was a doll, it was like having a friend there with you on your wedding day. 2 weeks before the wedding I met with Christine and went over EVERY detail of my wedding. She called my vendors to confirm and go over everything we talked about. She helped me with tipping amounts and really put me at ease at a stressful time. The day of the wedding she arrived at my moms house and immediately started haelping my girls get dresses and helping putting out all the food my mom ordered and even clean it up. She put my dress on for me and then went to the church to check on everything there and put the flowers on all the guys. When we got to the beach for pics she held my train up the entire time, I almost felt bad b/c I felt like she was my slave but I know thats what her job is and what I payed her for. I would definetly recommend Christine she was great.

From the moment I signed on with Tara, I felt like I was in good hands. She was able to convey excitement about my event while remaining calm and level-headed throughout my planning process – when she answered all questions, through the final moments of my wedding reception – when she made sure all the loose ends were taken care of.

She was always professional and warm, even in the face of the chaos that it turns out a bridal suite can encourage. We almost stumped her with a request for rubbing alcohol for a new set of earrings but she dove into her bag of tricks and emerged with exactly what we needed – an antiseptic first aid towelette! She was on top of everything without ever being intrusive, and extremely responsive in the face of another vendor with less wedding experience. Her attitude is the perfect combination of "yes, we can do that" and "we can do that, but it would probably make your life easier if we did it sightly differently."

The only thing I might have done differently if I’d known 18 months ago what I know today is book Tara and EAP for the complete wedding planning package, instead of just day-of coordination! From what I know of her, and of Danielle, who I met the day of my wedding when she cheerfully and expertly set up our centerpieces in about half the time we thought it would take, I would highly recommend anyone planning a wedding sign up with these extremely competent, completely easy to work with women.

I went with EAP for my wedding invitations and for their wedding coordination services. I wanted our wedding invitation to be really special and Laurie helped us to achieve this goal. I can’t begin to thank her enough for all that she did the day of the wedding and everything before. She did everything to make it perfect: even getting scoopers at the last minute for our candy bar.

Tara was an UNBELIEVABLE Day of Coordinator. I only hired her for one day, yet from the night I booked her, she was available non-stop for me. We kept in contact via e-mail and she was constantly checking up on me and making sure everything was running smoothly. This was not included in our contract by the way, Tara is just an amazing person!!

On the day of my wedding Tara arrived right on time with her "bag of tricks" as my bridesmaids called it. She was on the ball with everything from makeup to hair to flowers to limos….you name it and she was on IT!! My family was so impressed with her services. They all laughed at me when I said I hired a DOC, but after they met Tara and watched her work her magic, they were blown away. My husband and I were blown away as well. I feel like she is one of my friends now, and I was so lucky she was there to share our day.

Tara was great to work with and my (now) husband and I were very glad we booked her DOC services, and would definitely recommend her to others.

She was great in being flexible to meet with me, as I was an “out of town” bride, so i had to make my appointments around my other wedding appointments.

Our wedding had gotten to be bigger than expected and she made me feel at ease with all the overwhelming feelings i was having. I am glad I decided to hire a day of coordinator. Even though the caterer apparently had “their people” to take care of me, i am glad I had someone, Tara, to look over everyone else (including all the other vendors, and, also me.) She was on the ball overseeing everything and it was nice not having to worry about the little things on such an important day. And it was nice to have someone keeping track of time – as it seemed to go so fast! She also picked up the bouquets on the way to meet us getting ready in the morning, which was a HUGE help for the day!

The only thing I wish we had done different is perhaps get some pointers on “working the room” so to speak. As time passed during the course of the reception, i felt like we werent getting around to say hello to everyone. Not that that was her fault, I just wish I had thought to ask how to manage the time going around to all the tables and speaking to everyone.

But it was a magical day and I have many beautiful photos to prove it. Everyone is smiling in each and every one.

As soon as Christine and I began communicating I knew hiring her company was a good idea. I knew that my personality required me to have someone with me on the day of the wedding that 1) I was comfortable with, and, 2) cared enough to get any job done. I needed my day-of-coordinator to be my eyes and organizer and Christine did this and more.

Christine was always one step ahead and took the initiative to take care of things. Christine managed the entire bridal party and all the vendors and did so with such ease. You can tell Christine enjoys her job…and she does it really well!! EAP was surely one of my favorite vendors and I am very happy that my husband and I decided to book the company. In my final pre-wedding days I was crazed and Christine put me at ease and even made me laugh when I really needed it.

Christine and her team are a must for every bride. No matter how organized or knowledgeable you are about events and logistics, there is nothing as important as your wedding day, and the number of details that need to be attended to in order for the day to go well should not be underestimated. You cannot enjoy your wedding day without a planner and you will be thrilled with your day if Christine is your coordinator.

Despite a torrential thunderstorm a half hour before our wedding ceremony, EVERY detail of our wedding was executed beautifully and Christine’s professionalism, calm and skills drew praise from our wedding party, priest and various vendors. She is an absolute pro and a complete delight to work with. A plus service, all too rare in New York City!

I knew right away when I started planning that I would need someone to make sure everything was done right on my day so I wouldn’t have to worry about it and that’s exactly what Christine did. She was amazing. I met and booked her back in the beginning of ‘07 and she was nothing but a huge help from that day. She was just starting out when I met her and I cant believe how much EAP has grown since then. The best thing about using Christine and EAP was that they already worked with most of my vendors so they all had great relationships and worked well together. On the day of Christine came on time and was active from the get go. I didn’t stress about a thing. She was all over the place making sure everything was just right. She even kept a few things from me that would stress me out like my limo that was late. I didn’t find out until a replacement car was sent on time. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone.

There are certain things you think about doing for your wedding that you are just not sure about; a wedding coordinator tends to be one of those things. You think to yourself do you really need one, is it a frivolous use of money, and what can they really do.

My decision to hire Christine Viola from Exquisite Affaris was one of the best decisions I made in regards to my wedding. Above everything that Christine did, the most important thing she provided me with was peace of mind. No matter how organized and prepared you are, the wedding day is hectic and things will happen that are beyond your control.

Christine dealt with all the little fires, she coordinated and organized everyone, she made sure all the vendors showed up, that the bridal party everyone else stayed on schedule, and she handled all the last minute payments and tips. She is also a doll to have around. She’s cool, calm and collected…nothing seems to faze her.

Christine was also a doll to work with during the wedding planning, she responds to all your emails in an astonishingly fast manner. She goes and above and beyond what she has to do.

Of all the Vendors I used she was definitely in my top 3 favorites. I can’t recommend her enough or advice people to get a wedding coordinator for their weddings. With all the time and money you spent on your wedding day, you want to enjoy the show not be coordinating it or even worst handing of the headache to a family member or friend.

Simply put these ladies made my day what it was. They are meticulous, super organized, kind, funny and nothing falls off their radar. EVER. From the first time I met Christine Viola, I knew that she would be the one person who could I could rely on to make sure all those details, big and small, would be taken care of. As a result, the wedding was legendary for my family and friends–a month plus later guests are still RAVING about how fabulous it was. Hands down, without a doubt, hiring Christine was my best decision (next to marrying my husband!). Having her enabled me to enjoy evey single aspect of my wedding–not one moment was missed because of all her hard work. I was the most relaxed bride, hands down,–and for anyone who knows me that is totally contradictory to my daily persona!

My wedding was full of Christine touches–from the out of town bags, to her vision on how to tone down the flowered wallpaper in the ladies room that bothered my mom to no avail and helping in selecting elegant, but not overdone, flowers for the reception, just to name a few. She also enlisted Laurie, Exquisite’s graphic designer, for the remainder of the paper goods, which were stunning. Not one detail was overlooked for my wedding–when I walked into the University Club’s 7th floor, tears welled up. It was magical–from the flower arrangement that my guests saw upon exiting the elevator, to the rediculously gorgeous arrangement at the card table, to the overlays on the tables and the accompanying flower arrangements and placement of the menus and favors, and the set up of the outdoor patio, WOW. It was beyond the perfect dream wedding.

Christine was there for me from the moment I signed on as an Exquisite Bride. She held my hand through various ‘dramas,’ last minute changes and gave her honest opinion 1000% of the time. To say she went above and beyond is an extreme understatement–from managing sticky family situations, to meetings with the florist, walk throughs at the University Club, emails with bridesmaids and groomsmens’ wives and managing 43 of us at the church rehersal, she did it all! I could ask her anything–she guided me on tips, dealt with situations I chickened out of, et. Not one member of our bridal party or immediate family was not on a first name basis with Christine and Tara. And we all LOVED THEM. I truly feel that I gained a friend, and my family a permanent event planner for the next

I knew I wanted to book Christine as my DOC even before we met in person! Out of the numerous coordinators I contacted for my wedding, Christine was always the fastest to respond to all my questions, and also the nicest and most enthusiastic. And prices were unbeatable!

I was a wreck in the few months prior to my wedding, but as soon as we had our final meeting with Christine, I felt a huge load lift from my shoulders. She soon emailed me our wedding day timeline, and it would be an understatement to say that I was impressed…I thought I was anal about my lists, but this timeline put everything I’ve done in the past to shame!

We had a bunch of last-minute changes, families who do not speak English, and decisions that were made on the 11th hour. Christine took all this by stride and took care of EVERYTHING. She had backup plans for her backup plans…and even through her recommendations, she always made sure to let me know that this was my day, and I should do what makes me happy.

She was unobtrusive on the day of the wedding, seeming to disappear but appearing again as if by magic, right by my side, whenever I needed her. She dealt with all my vendors politely and they all praised her as well. My bridesmaids fell in love with her (as I told them they would) and while raiding the suitcase she carried around with her all day, they even joked, “Do you have unicorns in there?” because she really seemed to have everything you can possibly want or need!

I would recommend Christine and EAP in a heartbeat. She really helped make my wedding day stress-free and went above and beyond my expectations in everything she did. I love you Christine!

I have only wonderful things to say about Christine and her company, Exquisite Affairs Productions. I hired Christine when I was cracking under the pressure and she really came to the rescue. In the initial stages of planning, I wasn’t sure I’d have money in our budget for a D.O.C. Now, I
consider it the best money I spent throughout the entire wedding planning process.

Upon meeting Christine, I was very impressed with how thorough and organized she was. She struck me as very on top of things and efficient. As the weeks passed, she did not disappoint. She was very responsive to my calls and emails, and went above and beyond the call of duty on more than one occasion. My out of town guests are still talking about the welcome poem and timeline that she made for my OOT bags, when I was too overwhelmed, busy and unfortunately sick to even know where to begin.

The day of the wedding, Christine arrived on time and was immediately taking charge of all the last minute issues that had inevitably arisen. She saved the day on more than once, as those “little things” didn’t go exactly as planned.

As most people say, the night was a blur, but I do honestly believe that it was because of Christine that I was able to actually enjoy my wedding!!!

Finding exquisite affairs was one of the best things I did! They helped me so much that day. I dont know what I would have done with out them. Tara managed all the buses that we had transporting guest and Christine did everything from sewing the bridesmaid dresses that broke to dealing with getting the gifts back to my hotel room. She knows what she is doing and how to handle every situation becasue she has done it so often.. and lets face it this is most brides first (and only time!) This honestly was the BEST money spend on the wedding. I would 100% advise any bride no matter your budget to use them!

The ladies of Exquisite Affairs Productions are just fabulous. Not only did we have Christine Viola, but we also had Hollie Pena Holmes and Tara Geremia – it was great because we got to see all of them in action and I can honestly say that no matter WHO you book from EAP, you will be so pleased. They were everywhere that day and made sure everything went right. We had a small issue with one of the bracelets being 2 inches too small – well, lo and behold, a little invisible string and Kristin (CuriousGeorge) was able to wear the lovely bracelet with no one being the wiser! They pinned up Rosella’s (MrsBartonToBe) dress in the back to make a bustle, they helped me go to the bathroom (yes I needed help! And Christine was SO sweet that I was surprisingly not embarrassed!). I mean, you name it and they did it. And all with a smile and a sincerity that made it pleasant to have them around. They definitely deserve an A+.
